Last weekend, my husband and I attended the Marymoor Velodrome Association’s dinner and auction. Folks came out to support track racing and those that love it – men, women & kids of all skill levels. It was especially awesome to watch a video of a young woman (Tela Crane) who started racing at Marymoor and is now training with the US Track Sprint Team! As I’m slowly trying become a real runner, it’s so inspiring to see other women work so hard towards their goals and really shine. Part of the funds raised through the dinner and auction went to support development (training, travel, etc.) for athletes like Tela, as well as beginner track programs, women’s programs, and track programs for kids.
My husband has loved being a part of the track racing community at Marymoor, and we were thrilled to be able to contribute to the auction by donating a set of custom personalized stationery with a vintage bike logo, in bright summer-y colors. The set includes 12 cards and 12 coordinating envelopes.
Interested in your own set? Contact us here. And for those who, like me, prefer stomping sidewalks, we’ve designed up a running themed set as well. 🙂
